Includes 50 wonderful tipped-in color plates bound at the frontispiece and following the text (as issued), and with several line drawings, all by the renowned children's illustrator Arthur Rackham. This hardcover copy, bound in decorative green cloth with gilded illustrations to the spine and cover, has a significant tear at the head of the spine which does not affect the binding. The corners are lightly bumped and there is some red discoloration to the cover. The tissue paper separating the text from the plates is coming loose.
