With colour plates throughout; and a list of plates at the front of the volume. Keynes (25 March 1887, Cambridge 5 July 1982, Cambridge) was an English biographer, surgeon, physician, scholar and bibliophile. He maintained a passionate interest in English literature all his life and devoted a large amount of his time to literary scholarship and the science of bibliography. Condition: In a two toned red cloth binding with gilt title and design detailing to spine and boards. Externally excellent with just minor shelfwear and a few marks.
