The Dada Painters and Poets: An Anthology (With the Tristan Tzara and Richard Huelsenbeck Broadsides Laid-In)
New York: Wittenborn, Schultz, Inc, 1951. Cloth. Very Good/Very Good -. A solid copy of the 1951 1st edition of this major "Dada" anthology. Tight and VG (very light offsetting along the top-edges, fading to the spine) in a crisp, price-intact ("$15"), VG- example of the Paul Rand-designed dustjacket, with a 2" loss to the spine crown (not affecting any of the lettering), very minor chipping at the foot of the spine and wear along the flap-folds. Quarto, the publisher's 2 broadsides which accompany the text ("An Introduction to Dada" by Tristan Tzara and "Dada Manifesto 1949" by Richard Huelsenbeck) are both present and in very nice condition. Vol. 8 in Wittenborn's wonderful "The Documents of Modern Art" series.
