Sydney: N.S.W. Bookstall Co., 1905. Scarce large format printed photographic panoramic view made up of nine folds, this view of Sydney starts with the Darling Street Wharf Balmain, and ends just west of Flagstaff Hill. Buildings and points of interest pictured include the Observatory, Grosvenor Hotel, Scots' Church, Queen Victoria Markets, Town Hall, Post Office, Navigation & Lands Departments, North German Lloyd's Wharf, Custom House, Colonial Secretary's Office, Circular Quay, Burns Wharf, Botanical Gardens, Orient Wharf, Rushcutter's Bay, Elizabeth Bay, Government House, Woolloomooloo Bay, Farm Cove, Clark Island, Garden Island, P & O Wharf, Shark Island, Pinchgut, Watson's Bay, Sydney Heads, Athol Bight, Cremorne, Admiralty House, Neutral Bay, Mosman's Bay, the Railway Station, Dawe's Point, Lavender Bay, McMahon's Point, Blues' Point, Berry's Bay, Kerosene Bay, Ball's Head, Lane Cove River, Mort's Dock, Long Nose Point, Goat Island, training ship "Sobraou", Parramatta River, Snails' Bay Darling Street Wharf, and Miller's Point. Taken from a photograph supplied by the NSW Government, with a 2pp fold out key to the panorama. In the original stiff papered gray boards, the title in gilt at front panel. Oblong 4to, folded, 11 3/4 x 9". Rubbed at edges, o/w good + condition.
