Covici-McGee, Chicago 1922 - First edition. Fine in an attractive, near fine dustwrapper with some overall age-toning and slight smudging. Jacket illustration by Quin Hall, along with highly complimentary blurbs by Carl Sandburg and Ben Hecht. Inscribed by the author to a fellow reporter: "To Fred. A. Chappell. Comrade for years at 'The Deadline' Henry Justin Smith. Dec '22." Smith was the News Editor at the Chicago Daily News. OCLC lists only two copies in American libraries.
