Delicately handcoloured etching/engraving on a vellin type paper. Description: Source unknown, to be determined. Published ca. 1830 (estimate).Artists and Engravers: Engraved by J.W. Archer after J. Bateman. John Wykeham Archer (1808-1864) was a British artist, engraver and writer. He was a pupil of John Scott. James Bateman (1814-1849) was a British artist. Condition: Very good, given age. Some small stains in the margins. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully. Professionally matted, not examined out of matting. Storage location: DPO47-06 The overall size is ca. 16.3 x 14.6 inch. The image size is ca. 5.7 x 4.7 inch. The overall size is ca. 41.5 x 37 cm. The image size is ca. 14.5 x 12 cm.
