Norman MacDougall in his work, James III a political history (p. 289-291), suggests that the aim of this pamphlet was to criticize Sir Robert Walpole and his government, and can be interpreted as a covert attack on the current prime minister. There is a comma after "force" on p. 42, line 8. 1/2 leather over cloth, slightly rubbed. Remaining in v. good condition for its age. . . . . [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
