Title page trimmed with the loss of the first two words, also with the loss fo the price from the lower edge. Preliminary pages tightly trimmed with the loss of the running title and any page numbers. A well used volume, the first pages have tears and some small holes, there are modern tape repairs to some of these pages. Browning and some spotting and staining. In more recent marbled covered boards and a cloth spine. Some old blank end papers at start and finish have been used for a few cures, one financial note is dated 1748. [Attributes: Hard Cover]
