Pp. (14), 1078, Indices. Full calf which is worn and faded. Internal writing in contemporary black ink. Presumably most of which is by an early owner: Laurence Torkington (with "Laurentius Torkington his booke 1665 On one of the front e.p's. Fair+ overall. The author is regarded as one of the most eminent representatives of classical philology between 1550 and 1650. He lived from 1547-1606. This copy was issued 10 years after his death.
