Printed for the author by Wm & Geo North, 1805, hardback, Book Condition: Very Good. hardback, quarto, two volumes in three books and bound in half calf, top edges gilt, remaining edges rough-trimmed, volume I published in 1805, volume II in 1809, a little knocked at leading corners of boards, spines with raised bands and lettered gilt on red to two compartments. Internally a very good tightly bound set with a clean and unmarked text, some minor foxing and age-toning, two folding engraved maps, one of which exhibits a panoramic view, closed tear. Twenty eight engraved plates including a map, 3 engraved armorial plates with 85 hand-coloured coats -of-arms, subscriber lists in volumes I & II. Bookplates of John eyre Sparrow to front pastedowns.
