August 16, 1967. Illustrated philatelic sheet, 8.75” x 11.5”, museum quality framed to 23" x 19", signed “Y. Rabin” in Hebrew. Jerusalem, August 16, 1967. In a special 9” x 11.5” Israel Defense Forces (IDF) folder. Fine condition.

Ancient depiction of Jerusalem at top center. All text in Hebrew. Headed, “Honor and Glory to the GeneralsVictory / The Six-Day War / 1967.” Statement by Lieutenant General Yitzhak Rabin beginning, “Now, with the cease fire…” Three Israeli stamps issued to honor the victory of the Israeli forces in June 1967 affixed, postmarked first day of issue in Jerusalem, August 16, 1967, “Day of Issue.” 0.40 stamp depicts Israeli ships in the Straits of Tiran, blockaded by Egypt before the war. 0.15 stamp depicts the Star of David, a sword, and an olive branch, the symbol of the Israel Defense Forces. 0.80 stamp depicts the Wailing (Western) Wall in unified Jerusalem. The tabs beneath the 0.40 and 0.80 stamps also depict the I.D.F. symbol.
