The title page is inscribed "For Clarus Backes, March 5 1987, near Naropa Institute, Allen Ginsberg, AH Boulder Colorado", and the half-title has the drawing incorporating stars, moon, "Ah" sun, "Ah" sunflower and snake, and the inscription "Best wishes in the new age".
