An excellent copy in a slightly foxed and soiled jacket with lightly nicked and rubbed extremities, minor chipping to corners, and and a small chip to rear panel. Frontispiece portrait of D. H. Lawrence and 7 plates. First edition, first impression. Inscribed by the author on front free endpaper: "Inscribed for Mr Stephen Maderick by John Middleton Murry."
