Maastricht and London: The Halcyon Press, 1932.. LIMITED ILLUSTRATED EDITION. Small quarto (27 x 19cm), pp.[2]; 170; [4]. With a striking wood engraving by J. Buckland Wright for every tale, as well as a frontispiece. Number 36 of just 206 copies, 175 being printed in Romanee type on Barcham Green's hand-made paper, as this example. In publisher's orange cloth with gilt titles to spine and gilt design to upper board. With original cream dust-jacket mirroring cloth design. Housed in the original corrugated cardboard box with title label, showing a price of 4 guineas. Jacket lightly browned and spotted, with very slight rubbing to corners. Box heavily worn and brittle; price almost obscured by black marker pen. A near-fine copy, rare in any condition.
