(14) (Original 1633 Title Page, Two plates showing George Carew & Queen Elizabeth, ‚To His Most Sacred Maiestie', ‚To The Reader'), 708 pages, (10) (‚A Table Alphabeticall', ‚A Catalogue of the severall Mappes contained in this Historie', 4 blank). With 18 reproduced maps, mainly folding. Beautiful red morocco. The two original volumes have been bound into one. Gilt title and author's name on black leather labels on spine. Gilt decorations. Five raised bands on spine. Marbled end papers. Fore and bottom edge deckle. A very attractive book. Very good condition. New binding. 1810 Title Page not present (only ‚Original Title' of 1633 is used). The maps used in this copy are reproduced and are not the maps issued with the 1810 Edition. Age darkening, browning and mild foxing throughout. Edges dust dulled.
