A Fall of Moondust
New York: Harcourt, Brace & World. New York, Harcourt, Brace & World, 1961. First Edition. First Impression. Hugo Nominee, and having the strangely incongruent claim of being the first science fiction work to become a Reader's Digest Condensed Book. "A sight-seeing vehicle, packed with tourists, sinks into a sea of dust on the moon's surface. The subsequent struggle for survival is tensely described, with fanscinating scientific details┬┐probably the best of his works of near-future realism" [Pringle, p114]. A lovely copy, with the gentlest of wear to the head of the spine, and one corner. Bump to the bottom of the spine. The finest copy we've seen. Cover art by Arthur Hawkins [5958, Hyraxia Books]. . Fine. Hardback. 1st Edition. 1961.
