John Murray, 1859, Cloth, Book Condition: Good. 1st Edition: xxvii, 403 pages, [ 3 pages publishers advertisements], wood engraved frontispiece, 2 folding maps, 14 wood engraved plates, folding facsimile of handwriting and 1 folding map laid in. Blue cloth covers, spine ruled and titled in gilt, marbled page edges. Previous owners bookplate on front pastedown, some spotting, staining, mainly to prelims and end papers. All illustrations, maps present. No map pocket but the original map and folding facsimile of handwriting laid in at end. Small piece of edge of map missing but does not affect the reading of the map. Shelfware, spine slightly sunned, covers have the odd ink spot on them and are slightly grubby. Owners bookplate on front end paper, some foxing, mainly to prelims. Contents clean.
