Springfield, Massachusetts: Milton Bradley, 1907. |~||~||~||~| A manual for teaching colour theory to children, first published in 1902. In chapters on colour scaling, harmony, and studies of the sky, fruits, trees, and flowers, the author stresses "the eye must be opened to see, the mind awakened to note, the hand made able to express" (p. 14).
