Fine, bright, square copy in dust jacket lightly rubbed at the corners and head of spine. Introduces Jerry Mooney, ace private detective, to solve a "snatch" and murder in what came to be known as the notorious Fabric Club Case. This case involved some of the top designers and firms in the fashionable dress business. A designer with a flair for stealing competitors' styles, was kidnapped, and nearly everyone except his partner were glad to learn that he had disappeared. Then a prominent business owner was found murdered and the scandal shook the city.
