Shelfwear, bumping of corners, slight bowing, vellum darkened. Titling in faded ink to the spine. Red speckling to page block edges, soiling. Page edges yellowed, some spotting. Name to top of fep. Initials of 'PJF' to pastedown, ink price & bookshop book was bought from to the bottom of the rear endpaper. Illustrations: with an added engraved title page (vol. 1); plates depicting the subjects before each of the hymns, and illustrations of coins, medals etc. throughout. Parallel Greek and Latin texts, notes an preliminaries in Latin.
