- Antique Master Print, titled: 'De Herfst.' - A seasonal design wit decorative lettering for Autumn. Two small circular engravings in the top edge show the transfer of wine barrels from a small canal boat onto the quay. The central lettering are elaborately designed letters, of which the H especially is autumnal: vines and grapes. Handcoloured engraving on hand laid (verge) paper. Watermark: Shield with Lily. Description: Published by Cornelis Focking. Rare. Artists and Engravers: Made by 'B. de Bakker' after 'A. Doesjan'. Barent de Bakker (fl. 1762-1805) was a Dutch engraver, painter and draughtsman. Arian Doussyan or Adrianus Doesjan (Dutch; 1740-1817). Condition: Good, given age. Small stains in the margins and image. Dampstained in the lower margin. Paper damage in the lower left corner of the border around the image. Backed with acid-free archival tape. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully. Storage location: GV-A1-14 The overall size is ca. 15.5 x 10.9 inch. The image size is ca. 14.4 x 10 inch. The overall size is ca. 39.3 x 27.7 cm.
