Front free endpaper and first 4 leaves professionally repaired, boards rubbed, tiny chip to foot of spine, bottom edge of front free endpaper and initial leaf lightly nicked, overall a good copy. First edition of this monograph elaborating on the clinicopathological aspects of cerebral palsy, a "companion to Freud and [Oscar] Rie's clinical study of the unilateral paralyses of children, completing Freud's investigation of all forms of childhood paralysis" (Norman). The case studies are divided into four groups, with Freud explaining the causes of each: the first, Little's disease; the second, paraplegic spasticity; the third, centralized chorea and bilaterial athetosis; and the fourth, bilateral spastic hemiplegia.
