It was to be Fourier's final work: a third part was planned, but was prevented by the death of Fourier in 1837. Fourier is remembered as a pioneer of utopian libertarian socialism and an early advocate for women's rights. - Spine somewhat brittle and scuffed; interior shows light browning due to paper.
