- Plate 40: This plate shows a bouquet of flowers including a species of lily. Rare. Crayon style lithograph on a vellin type paper, finished with hand colouring and arabic gum. Description: Original antique master print published ca. 1850 (estimate only). Published by Desguerrois. These can both be prints made by old masters (artists) or prints made by others (artists, engravers, etchers) after old masters.Artists and Engravers: This plate by Anton Weiss (1801-1851), a Austrian lithographer and painter of still lives of flowers, fruit and feral. He studied in Amsterdam under J.A. Daiwaille. Desguerrois was a Dutch lithographic publisher (active 1813-1874). Storage location: DP-B6-33 The overall size is ca. 11.6 x 18.1 inch. The image size is ca. 8.7 x 11.8 inch. The overall size is ca. 29.5 x 46 cm. The image size is ca. 22 x 30 cm.
