Inquire about reduced pricing. Handcoloured crayon style lithograph on a vellin type paper. Description: Original antique master print published ca. 1850 (estimate only). Published by Desguerrois. Desguerrois published a series of flower and plant lithographs by Anton Weiss. Our definition of a Master Print is a seperately published print or series of prints, not being an illustrative print to a text. These can both be prints made by old masters (artists) or prints made by others (artists, engravers, etchers) after old masters. Scarse print.Artists and Engravers: This plate by Anton Weiss (1801-1851), a Austrian lithographer and painter of still lives of flowers, fruit and feral. He studied in Amsterdam under Alexander Joseph Daiwaille (1818-1888). Desguerrois was a Dutch lithographic publisher (active 1813-1874). Condition: Excellent, given age. Minimal tiny stains in the margins. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully. Professionally matted, not examined out of matting. Storage location: DPO17-02 The overall size is ca. 22 x 19.3 inch. The image size is ca. 14 x 11.2 inch. The overall size is ca. 56 x 49 cm. The image size is ca. 35.5 x 28.5 cm.
