With an eight-line poem below the image in German. Engraving on hand laid paper. Watermark: monogram. Description: From: "Bavaria Sancta", published 1624-1627. State: Only state. Ref: Hollstein 157-201 or 202-227?Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Raphael Sadeler II' after an anonymous artist. Raphael Sadeler II (1584-1632) was a son and pupil of Raphael Sadeler I. He worked in Antwerp, Venice and Munich. Condition: Very good, given age. Large margins. Small stains and some soiling in the margins. Remains of attachment to carrier to the rear of the sheet.
