New York - George F. Nesbitt & Co., 1851 Book. Very Good. Hardcover. A scarce copy of Poetic Fillings on the Warp of Trade by Theodore W. Ellis. Rarely available, last copy sold six years ago that we can discover. Bound in green cloth with gilt lettering. This book contains three chapters of poetry, of Religious Poems, Songs, and Miscellaneous Poems. Theodore W. Ellis lived, at least for a time, in South Hadley Falls, Massachusetts. He married Maria Louise van Boskerck and they had a son, Ralph Waterbury Ellis, who was born in South Hadley Falls in 1852. Condition: The binding itself istight and firm. Though the front inner hinge is slightly strained. There is some wearto the extremities,including some bumping and stains to the boards. There issome discolouration to the spine. Internallythe pages have some slight browning to the edges, withintermittent faint spotting throughout. There is an ink inscription on the front free-endpaper. Overall the condition is very good..
