Errata slip tipped-in after prelims. ยง[Title continues] 'Also an Appendix with a Tabulated List of the Derby, Oaks, and St. Ledger Races from their Commencement, showing the Owners, with their Colours, Winning Horses, Jockeys, Years, Sires, and Dams, with an Account of some of the most interesting Sporting Matches which have taken place at Newmarket and York'. Original parchment-backed red paper boards, black lettering and decoration. Two discreet early ink ownership names and dates to prelims. Parchment a little discoloured, some rubbing around edges of covers, and a short external split to parchment at either side of head of spine but covers perfectly tight and sound. A good, sound copy.
