Garden City, NY: Doubleday, Doran & Co, 1936. Cloth. Very Good/Very Good -. A one-of-a-kind copy of the 1936 stated 1st edition. SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR DICK HYMAN AND THE ILLUSTRATORS OTTO SOGLOW AND ARTHUR "BUGS" BAER (who wrote the Foreword) on the front free endpaper. A very solid copy to boot. Tight and VG+ in a bright, price-intact, VG- dustjacket, with light chipping along the panel edges, at the base of the spine (1" loss) and to the front panel's upper tip. Octavo, wonderfully illustrated thruout by the great Otto Soglow, one of the premier cartoonists in "The New Yorker's" illustrious history. Inscribed by Soglow "to our young friend Martin Dash", who "built a career in the greeting card business as President of American Artists Group"
