To Eberhart from Ginsberg: A Letter About Howl 1956
Lincoln, Massachusetts: The Penmaen Press, 1976. Cloth. Near Fine/Near Fine. Jerome Kaplan. Of the 1976 1st edition of 1,500 copies, this is one of the 300 hardbound copies which is supposed to be numbered and signed by both Allen Ginsberg and Richard Eberhart. Oddly, this copy is out-of-series and lacks the number and the signatures of both poets at the limitation. ALLEN GINSBERG, however, DID SIGN AND DATE THIS COPY on the title page in 1988. A tight, very sharp copy as well. Clean and Near Fine in its duotone cloth, with bright, completely unflecked silver lettering along the front panel and spine. Also includes a clean, Near Fine example of the publisher's mylar dustjacket, with one small chip at the rear panel's top-edge. Octavo, the relief etchings of the 2 poets by Jerome Kaplan.
