Foxing, particularly to the plates. Provenance: By descent to Jermyn Moorsom from the library of William Calvert. Inscribed to title page "W. Calvert, May the 10, 1816. Greta Bank". Some contemporary explanatory pencil annotations. William Calvert (1770-1829) of Windy Brow and Greta Bank. Close friend and neighbour of Southey. School friend of Wordsworth. Friend of Coleridge and Shelley whom he introduced to Southey. Divided by inheritance, the other part of the Calvert/Stanger/Moorsom Library is held at the Wordsworth Trust.
