[London, 1686?]. Folio (31 cm; 12"). 4 pp.. This publication contains two short writings supposedly by Charles II: The authenticity of each is supposedly attested to by his successor, James I. However, there is ongoing uncertainty! Both "papers" are defenses of the Catholic Church.    ESTC lists five printings in varying formats and differing lengths, with attributed dates of printing between 1685 and 1687. => Of this printing, we trace only three copies in U.S. libraries.         ESTC R9636; Wing (rev. ed.) C2942A. Disbound. Pages age-toned, with edges ragged and with a short tear from upper margin, just touching first line of text.
