Back to the lighthouse. second board with palmettes frame and central macaroon. Beautiful top plate, with bright gold, but small areas of discoloration on the borders. Second flat well, but with some dark areas of dirt and curbs, especially the bit bearing discolored areas. Back fairly well, with a slightly soft upper cap, small discolored areas. A corner with a fold, the others rubbed. Left copy with some rare foxing.The invasion of the sea is the last novel that Jules Verne has been able to correct, and is happening in Tunisia and Algeria: a canal project that floods part of the Sahara. As for the Lighthouse at the end of the world , Jules Verne did not correct the tests and it was his son Michel who made a number of modifications to the original text. The action takes place in South America, east of the land of fire, where the Pacific and the Atlantic meet. There are looters of wrecks who remind one of Stevenson's novel of the same name.
