Reilly & Lee, Chicago 1920 - Referenced in Bienvenue; L. Frank Baum, page 81. 12 full color plates present. Illustrated endpapers. Boldface, "Reilly & Lee" printed on the spine. Last title on the verso of the half-title page is "Glinda of Oz." On page 150, line 4, "much time" shows just the beginning of fade, which according to Bienvenue notes an early printing in the initial press run. In later printings, these two words plus others are not longer visible. Bound in original tan cloth with color illustrated paper title label pressed onto the front cover. No name on the "This Book Belongs To" page. Cloth at the spine ends professionally repaired. A very good copy, without the dust jacket. [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
