Notes on the earlier history of Barton-on-Humber 2 volumes
E. Stock, a 1908 - 2 volumes. The covers are sound but showing signs of wear and age (slight fraying, small slits at head and base of spines. Cover corners slightly frayed, lightly creased, a couple of small slit to spine cloth on volume 2 ). Volume 2 is SLACK - the strings very stretched and netting visible. The folding map in volume 1 is torn along the creases. Browning/foxing to end papers also a few darkening browning marks on a few pages etc. Signature of Rex Russell on end papers, also a inscription from the vicar of Barton and Mrs. Varah 1916. A separate etching drawing of the vicarage with a letter attached to the rear (from the author 1906 ) about the sketch(19cm x 11 cm) and his book. See images from Winghale Books.
