- A printed menu, 8vo (12 x 20cm), on stiff card, 4pp., signed to the front by 21 guests. According to the Discussions of the Faraday Society, No. 10, 1951, "A General Discussion on Hydrocarbons was held in The Physical Chemistry Laboratory, South Parks Road, Oxford" on the 11th, 12th, and 13th April, 1951. The President [of the Faraday Society], Sir Charles Goodeve, O.B.E., F.R.S., was in the Chair and about 350 members and visitors were present. This menu marks the occasion of the dinner held on the first night. It has been signed by: A. Bradbury; George Glockler (1890-1969); W. E. Garner (William Edward, 1889-1960); D. P. Stevenson; Mrs K.
