- Henry Clarke, Utica, 1811. 200 pages oddly numbered. Title page unnumbered but counted as 1 with reverse blank and counted as 2: next page an "Advertisement-To The Candid Reader" unnumbered and counted as 3 with reverse a continuation numbered iv. Text begins with number of A2 (as 5) and reverse continues as 6 in correct sequence with pages thereafter.Page 197 (unnumbered) is the Table of Contents, 198 is blank followed unnumbered "Errata" (199) and 200, a "Notice" of future publication, also unnumbered. No front or back free end papers though none seem missing. Leather binding with bumped and worn corners, 1/2" vertical chunk out of the base of spine. Binding is surprisingly secure. Title page has upper right corner torn away affecting two words. Pages toned and still supple with a few pencil marks. Pages are still fairly bright with scattered foxing throughout. There is an old owners' purple stamp on the title age and on the bottom af the last page. It reads: Fred A Stillman, Gun & Locksmith-Lawnmowers put in order.-409 No. Beach St.-Daytona, Fla.
