London: George Bell and Sons, 1890. 12mo. The Aldine edition of the British Poets. In two volumes, Vol. 1. clxxxvi, 212pp., Vol. 2. xiii, 409pp., handsomely bound in full red morocco, boards double ruled in gilt raised bands, compartments lettered and ruled in gilt, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. The first volume discusses the events in Coleridge's life, then follows a bibliography of his poetry, his early poetry and then on to his later poetry. A lovely set with small surface spit to upper joint to volume two and previous owner's inscription.
