London - Chapman and Hall 1863 - Ascarce uniformly bound set of this fictional work from prolific writer, Thomas Adolphus Trollope. Second edition. Thomas Adolphus Trollope was an historian and writer, of both travel and novels. He was hugely popular during the victorian era. Set out as a work of travel in six books, chapters to volume one include Students at Bologna, In the Church of San Domenico, and In the Palazoo Brancacci. Chapters to volume two include Signorina Benedetta, The Battle, and Spiritual Influences. Lastly chapters to volume three include Marta Varani, Giulio in Florence once More, and The Archbishop's Chancery. Complete inthree volumes. Condition: Rebound in cloth bindings with gilt lettering to the spines. Externally, lightly rubbed, with some damp staining and bumping. All hinges are slightly strained. Internally, all volumes are generally firmly bound, and bright, with the odd handling mark and spot. Booksellers ink stamp to the front pastedown of every volume. Ink signature to one title page.
