Steel-engraved map of Ireland + 60 + 58 steelengraved plates (with protective tissue paper) with Irish views and sceneries. Original blindtooled green cloth bindings with richly gilt spines and gilt vignette of St. Patrick on each front board. All edges gilt. Some marginal foxing to plates, mostly in vol. 1. Foxing to both titles. Cut in front endpaper in both volumes. Spine-ends professionally renewed.. Romantic celebration of Ireland
