First edition of a sought-after monograph on Kuwait. Zahra Freeth, the daughter of H.R.P. Dickson (author of Kuwait and her Neighbours and The Arab of the Desert) grew up Arab-speaking in Kuwait before oil and later wrote a classic on traditional Kuwait architecture.
