Adams and Day conducted experiments using candles to measure the effect on selenium. The field of photovoltaics (then called photoelectrics) was in its infancy, with the first research on the subject published four years earlier. Quite scarce in the original wraps. Tear to front wrap, contents excellent, good to very good condition overall. . Good. 1876. First Edition.
