N.p. [Toronto] N. D.: Various, 1992 Isaac Asimov & Canadian Holmes mini archive. Asimov was a great Sherlockian. Invested in the BSI as "The Remarkable Worm Unknown To Science" and a recipient of the prestigious Two Shilling Award. At least two of his books were Sherlockian including Asimov's Sherlockian Limericks. This archive includes 5 items. 1 - a 4" x 5" typed & signed in blue ink Sherlockian limerick by Isaac Asimov entitled: A CASE OF IDENTITY. "Mary Sutherland's bound for the church / But is left by her groom in the lurch / Quick! To Holmes with the tale / Of that non-show-up male, / And the bloodhound is off on the search. / By Isaac Asimov" - 2 - a 5" 3/8 x 7" 7/8 black & white original photograph of Isaac Asimov sporting his deerstalker cap & friend at a Sherlockian event. - 3 - 4" x 6" holograph signed note on printed [recto only] light blue card stock from Trevor Raymond, editor [from 1991-2007] of Canadian Holmes, the magazine of The Bookmakers of Toronto, thanking the sender for the use of the "great [Asimov] photo". Also noting that after multiple problems, Vol. 15 No 4 went to the printers in Waterloo. - 4 - a 2" 1/2 x 3" 1/2 Ex Libris Sherlockian bookplate signed by Isaac Asimov & - 5 - An 8" 1/2 x 11" proof from Canadian Holmes, pg. 14 St. Jean Baptiste Day, 1992 - A remembrance of Isaac Asimov by Bob Coghill in fine condition.. Signed by Author. 1st Edition.
