First Edition of the classical monograph on the structure of the spinal ganglia of man and animal by Alexander Stanislavonic Dogiel (1852-1922), the great Russian neurhistolgical investigator. He had the highest esteem for Cajyl, Golgi, and Retzius, to all three to whom he dedicated the above work. The magnificant illustrations in this volume are fro his own hand.
