Lincoln MacVeagh/The Dial Press, New York, 1929. First Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Very Good Condition/Poor. Illustrator: Politzer. Uncommon Haycraft Queen Cornerstone volume. Source of the Edward G. Robinson movie. Ends with the famous last line, "Mother of God, he said, is this the end of Rico?" Blue cloth, the spine and the front panel are stamped in yellow and also blind stamped. There is some light wear along the book edges, but the book is otherwise in great condition. The dust jacket is missing 1/2 of the spine and has split along flaps, but the rest is there. Very rare in any condition. Not price clipped. See photos. Size: Octavo (standard book size). 308 pages.
