Scar 77.
London: Rich and Cowan, 1936. Association Copy First Edition. Octavo, pp. 311. Blue cloth with yellow titles to spine, in striking pictorial dustwrapper. With a pencil and ink drawing of the protagonist Colonel Grant and an inscription to the front flyleaf. Some spotting to edges, very slight wear to the board edges. Dustjacket show well with a small closed tear to the top of the rear panel, some minor creasing along the top and bottom edges, some marking to the lighter areas. The Inscription reads "Colonel Grant takes Dennis Wheatley to another tough corner. He did not 'find Atlantis' nor 'ride with the devil'. But he probed pretty deep and rode roughshod over the herd, now he footslogs on. And to thank Dennis Wheatley from Graham Seton Hutchinson May 1936". Denis Wheatley's book plate to front pastedown. A near fine copy with a cracking association.
