Boards detached, chipping to spine leather, wear to edges. Inscription on front flyleaf dated 1850 from Lewis Lyman to a Mrs. D. D. Howard. Small tears to a few plates, occasional foxing, offsetting. Facsimile documents, seals, etc., many folding, that originally appeared in Statutes of the Realm, Domesday Book, Acta parliamentorum scotiae, etc., with text printed on following page of facsimile. Facsimile include the Magna Carta, Petition of Rights of Charles I, several inrollment of acts by William & Mary, Elizabeth, several fasc. of Rymer's Foedera. A fair copy of historical facsimiles of notable English treaties and document during England's 800 year history (at time of publication) This is an oversized or heavy book, that requires additional postage for international delivery outside the US.
