The author was especially selected by Joseph Banks as artist for the voyage as artist but particularly for drawing plants. Includes account of the Country, Natives and natural produce of New Holland. Vocabulary of the Language of New Holland, the Island of Savoo, Batavia and Sumatra. Many illustrations of the people, tools, plants and places.
