Senex, and the executors of J. Darby MDCCLI-MDCCLII, 1751. Complete in 2 volumes, plus additional 2 volume supplement. Books measure 16 1/2 x 10 3/4 inches. Printed 1751-1753. Volumes 1 & 2, have 10 folding plates, 1 folding specimen, 11 single page engraved plates. supplement volumes have 21 folding plates. Engraved plates appear to be complete, as other copies, but no index to check. Bound in full period calf, raised bands, elaborate gilt tooling within compartments, leather title labels. Calf rubbed, scuffed, hinge joints cracked, all boards holding but tender, head and tails rubbed with wear loss. Generally a attractive set in period bindings. Internally, a couple of blank endpapers detached, some light browing, some plates creased. Pages and plates in good condition. A nice set. . Seventh Edition. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall.
