Illustrated with 7 Portraits, a Map of Kentucky, and 73 other Engravings. Original sheep leather binding has been rebacked in modern calf leather with vellum tipped corners. Previous owner's name in pencil behind front cover. Endsheet/advert is chipped at edges and is age-toned quarter of an inch around edges. This is the ONE- VOLUME EDITION which originally sold for 5.00 a copy in cloth and for $6.00 per copy in leather, as advertised on page opposite page [20], 912 on the first page of the 20 pages of adverts in back of book.
